Xponential Music Fest Poster Sketches
4.30.09
Below are six rough sketches for you to check out. Pick one or two that I can explore and deliver a refined sketch.

Below is a more refined design based on the sketches and feedback. I'd probably add some small textural details to the top portion of the guitar, but this is pretty much all there. Finished dimensions would be 19" X 25", printed in three colors. It will be pretty easy to convert to a merch design, though I might turn the guitar upright for that. Let me know what you think! -Kevin

These two are variations of the theme of the first thumbnail sketch, which has "sewn on" elements and an intriguing color palette set on dark blue paper. The first of the two favors an image heavy design, while the second image lets the text play a more prominent role.

Here four one-color options for you to pick from. I can adjust the colors to go on any shirt color you like.
Here ten two-color options for you to pick from.

Here are is the adjusted merch design. I shrunk all of the foliage a bit and switched out the flower for the leaf, which I think feels much better now. I also put in the wxpn logo. Color options are based on the shirt colors requested and type of shirt. I also varied placement on the ladies tanks to give you a look. I kind of like the lower left print on the aqua shirt, it looks cool there. As always, drop me a line with questions/comments etc.

Here are the rest of the color options that you requested. I added two different colorways for a couple shirts to offer you more flexibility to choose today. I fixed the WXPN logo (same color with screened W, no station numbers) on the final art, but it is not shown in these mockups. The art on the ladies shirts is about 10% smaller than on the mens t-shirts. Placement on the ladies shirts: Scoop-neck > centered; V-neck > upper left chest; tank > lower right front. The last image shows the shirt back, using the same art from last year's shirts, with the updated year.

Poster with added Subaru logo, two options.

Final Poster Art.
7.2.09
Final Final Poster Art, two versions. Version 1, client's request. Version 2, my suggestion. Version 2 does not break any band names to the next line, which eliminates the need for bullets at the end of any lines.
Version 3, per phone conversation
